Google Cloud Embedded/Firmware SW
Anyone know anything about these roles? I've been pretty persistently reached out for these (and sadly nothing else within Google...) despite having qualms about joining Google Cloud. Lately I've started to imagine it can't be worse than how it already is for me at Apple - heck, even if it's just as bad, there'll probably be a TC bump and the employee experience is probably a bit nicer at G. Am I being naive? Anyone know anything about these teams, the culture, etc?

Yeah I also noticed recruiters pushing hard for these.
Why's it so bad at Apple?
don't like WLB in my org, don't really like Apple as a company, want more flexibility to travel during the year, scope of team is huge but still kind of boring i also don't like the feature i represent, it's pretty awful to get anything done for it
It's pretty easy to team swap after a year if more interesting roles open up within the company by then.
