Google Cloud Work Culture vs rest of Company

How's the culture in the Google Cloud as compared to rest of the company? It seems they are bringing in a variety of external hires at a fast pace (VMware, MSFT, Oracle, SFDC etc) and growing business rapidly.. Is there a semblance of work-life balance? Intra org politics - is it better or worse than other teams? Comp - do GCP sales folks get similar comp increase, GSU refresh?
