Interview with Google went well. Does Google require proof of competing offer or do they take your word for it? Like Google many companies will only make verbal offer while still negotiating. Obligatory E5, $310k TC
Just curious, what does “obligatory E5” mean?
Can confirm. Also don’t expect that they will match you all the way unless you’ve got offers from a specific company. This happened to me.
Require proof. Usually only match up to 80% if it’s way out of band. For example, someone got L3 and got a 300k competing offer, google matches only 240k. Another guy got L4 and got a 350k competing offer, and google matches only 270k. Etc
Yup. This was my experience, but with different band. See above
They ask for a screenshot of the email if the number is too high
Ah ok. Thanks.
