Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
Hello Friends, I got a reject from Google HC but the recruiter gave me two options either give 2 more interviews ( 1 Coding + 1 System Design) and appeal to HC for reconsideration or wait for another 6 months and start from scratch. In my first attempt I had 3 great interviews but 2 borderline interviews. I would appreciate your advice.
I see no harm giving 2 more interviews if you already have given 5
Do you think you’re ready for them now, or would 6 months to prepare make you even more confident to crush it
I think you are never ready. I did take a break after a 4 months of prep. But I still am very fresh.
In that case, go for it. I had an extra for fb kinda like this. I took it and failed. They came back 6 mo later and I crushed it with the breaks. But mind you, I’m non tech, and in those 6 months I focused work on my weaknesses, which were clear while interviewing. If you’re fresh on prep and feel good, now is as good as ever
I gave 2 more interviews and got an offer. After having spent many months preparing, an extra 2 weeks of prep to get it over with seemed like the best play.
So did the HC recommend you for the interviews or the recruiter. My case is that HC has rejected my application but recruiter recommend to appeal by giving two more interviews
I think the HC recommended. I see now that your case is a little different.
Did you do team match first OP?
Is the effort spent for interviews something that you’ll continue to use after getting the job? Curious if you just studying for the interview and the actual role doesn’t follow what they evaluate?
L5? How’d it go
