Finally after 3 weeks of stress, passed the google HC. Now I feel google has been glorified way too much, and it is not really worth it. I wasn't really happy with the hiring bar, it felt more random than tough. It felt boring and easy, more about explaining the approach to the interviewer. All the prep was gone for a toss, only 2 of the interviewers seemed smart. I need to see what ppl actually think of google, pls vote ! YOE : 4.5 Level : L4

lol, this was for india interns hiring. Not sure if fteβs will be facing the same.
Interested to know this too^. Why do you think the interviews were so easy? Were the questions LC easy-medium?
Welcome to the club. The hard and agonizing part starts now - team matching. I cleared HC for L4 in the first week of August.
location ?
I cleared in March. Still no team match
If Google wasn't tough, which company would you say has a good hiring bar and is tough to crack ? I personally got through Amazon and Microsoft with almost no preparation. For Google I had to brush up on my skills a lot, eventually got through.
They're easy because you studied for the interview
Congrats π»
What is HC?
Hiring committee
thank you for asking this :)
Lmao your "grass is greener on the other side" phase has started even before your first day of work ππ Interview questions are meant to be solvable so they can evaluate you working instead of making you give up. It's because you have 4YOE and don't know how to settle. I'm willing to bet on the fact that you'll soon start looking at HFT companies regardless of how your Google experience goes. Chill out you made it bro
which location is this interview for?
will update after team match
