The Hiring Committee approved this week my hire for a role in GCP. Can I ask my recruiter details about the HC deliberations or the score issued? Can Googlers access it or view their packet once hired? It would be good to know how strong is my position before negotiating the package. Truth to be told, I am also genuinely curious.
OP how long did it take from onsite to the approval?
1 week
My onsite was a series of hang out interviews almost 4 weeks ago. My packet was initially scheduled for HC the week of the 5th but postponed to gather all the interview feedback.
AFAIK, recruiters are not allowed. Even interviewers are implicitly asked not to share details of feedback even if you were recruited.
Interviewers are not allowed to discuss results with candidates for legal reasons. In case we give them a raving feedback (or they think so) and then Google rejects them.
Thanks for the insight!
No
Congrats OP .. what level?
Thanks! The recruiter has not told me yet. She is waiting to get package details from the compensation analyst team to go over everything. Unless they take account of my tech lead experience for L6, I would imagine it will be L5.
They won't share it. I have asked!
No, absolutely not.
Date a recruiter at google, ask them to share it. I heard of one of their recruiters sharing this info with a guy she dated. I’m sure she could get fired for this but I guess they have access more than others.
Yeah I'd like to see what they wrote about me during interviews also.
Nope you can't
