Google L4 Interaction Designer offer
Verbal offer for L4 Interaction Designer, 12 YOE, in Mountain View (possible other locations, haven't matched with team yet). Experience at Amazon, Microsoft, and series A startup. Offer felt VERY low initially, talked about bringing it up to: 150k base / 430k equity + 15% bonus = 280 TC + signing (no number for that yet) How does this compare with other L4 Designer TC? Leveling feels off, but they wouldn't budge on that. Would like to get as high as possible and then work on an early promo.

Is that your final offer OP? Did you get it revised?
Google downlevels everybody. I really would reconsider taking an L4 offer from them. From your experience, you wont be happy at that level. People of lower ability will have a higher level.
