Currently negotiating a SWE L4 offer from Google. I have a competing offer (equivalent level) from a private Bay Area tech company with the following terms: $220k base $40k annual bonus $40k sign-on bonus $400k private RSUs over four years $400k TC first year, $360k TC afterwards I was told that I had a strong onsite interview performance at Google. Ignoring the paper money RSUs, can Google beat the liquid component of this competing offer (i.e. >$300k TC Y1, >$270k annualized)? Current TC: $250k with 4 YOE
Ignoring paper component, your TC is 270k (with sign on/4)
So how many leetcode questions, op ? And how was your interview questions and experience??
I did just under 100 LC questions with an even mix of difficulty. Onsite questions were a mix of graphs, tries, and arrays (LC med/hard). Interviewers provided a lot of interesting follow up discussions.
Under 100? Wow I am little above 150 and still feel i know nothing
Seems too high for L4
Same question?
Sounds like the liquid component of the competing offer is 260 not 300 which, of course, is still good for 4 YoE.
