Currently L4, TC at around 300k due to stock inflation (outside MTV). DD offer isn't finalized, but at a glance I'm assuming it'll be somewhere between 330k and 400k for a remote team. Is it worth jumping ship and giving up an unstoppable stock, golden WLB, and better resume branding for a promotion (that will probably take 2-3 years minimum at G) and a bit more TC, depending on stock growth? Or should I keep interviewing? If you're voting DD, please indicate how much I should try to negotiate for.

Is your DD offer in product team or platform team? Wondering why DD is bad even though it's good remote E5 offer?
Don't have enough info yet, don't even have final numbers. I don't assume the offer'll be bad, but things like WLB matter (I'm a parent) and that's the one thing that even DoorDashers will admit isn't the best thing about the company. Also how recruiters would hypothetically judge a jump from an A+ company to one that isn't necessarily A+.
I heard platform teams are better in terms of wlb compared to product teams.
For 30k increase? No way. For 100k? Maybe. Get DD details first.
What's the Outlook for DD stock?
Stay at Google for golden wlb and stable TC. Come to DD if you want fast career growth and startup experience.
Since you mention being a parent above: several folks in my team are parents (almost all E6+ leaders are). And they are happy here.

Sometimes you do have to go out for a promotion and come back. But you could probably try to cross into L5 at another faang. Say your department is slow rolling promotions if it's reasonably true.
