Google ML role vs SWE salary difference

Hi, I got an offer for Google L5 for 1.4cr in first year for a ML role. I've hearing that salary range for ML role is higher in Google, is that true? If yes, how much can this be negotiated to? Current TC-1.1 cr (Level 64 MSFT)
