Low balled for GA? Google Offer: Equity 110k and sign on 15k for 170k first year but with relocation. At Intel: TC includes RSU currently 75K.
$110 equity, not $110k?
Also $15 sign on? Not $15k? If latter- then these figures would look way different and obviously votes should favor Google
Intel is making big investments in hiring and retaining top talent. Their pay is going to be way better and competitive.
YoE?
If you think the cut is worth it in long term of career- then go for it. However it depends on your goal? If it's chips, then Intel has the advantage
It's not a paycut, 135 -> 170
Am I seeing the post incorrectly? Looks like OP poll reflects Intel TC 143k and Google TC ~120k. We don't know how it's broken for at Intel, but where is this 135 and 170 figure coming from?
This isn’t a lower offer. Your TC and Y1TC should include the equity, and the equity distribution is front loaded.
Lowest I have ever seen. Looks like google is beating Microsoft for giving low offers
U have better chance of growing at google than intel. Don't come to INTEL
With the chip race, I do think intel has a chance for a second run.. if you want Google brand yes. Do add your yoe
