It’s about to be a month since my Google on-site interview. It was mostly positive. Haven’t gotten any update whatsoever. What’s your opinion? Update: Got Rejected. Recruiter emailed saying he has an update regarding my candidacy & wants to schedule a quick phone call. This update is just over a month after my on-site interview. #Google #gcp #Amazon #AWS #Microsoft #meta #stripe #Airbnb #Netflix
Month out you are back up candidate at best, move on and keep looping
Don’t get your hopes up. My recruiter got back after onsite with positive feedback, I got through hc and matched with manager. Was already talking compensation with recruiter and a few weeks later was told by recruiter they will not me moving forward because someone on hc changed their mind so they flipped votes. Bottom line is don’t make plans until you get an official offer. Hard to say if you get an offer or not because wait time to hear back from recruiter is not necessarily a rule.
Damn that's a nightmare. Sorry to hear about that.
Whoa 😮 this is the first time I’ve ever heard of such a case happening. Welp there goes my hope. Back to grinding Leetcode I guess
If you haven't even heard back from HC your recruiter might not be confident you'll be able to pass and has either been unsuccessfully trying to team match you, or has forgotten you exist. Have you even emailed the recruiter about this? I was hounding my recruiter every couple days for updates.
Haven’t emailed my recruiter at all cause he said it’s the holiday season & updates might take a while. Plus I just dreaded a negative update so I didn’t wanna do anything.
It’s been more than 6 weeks since my onsite and I haven’t heard anything from my recruiter. Is this for new grad ?
Yes
Same here OP. Its been just over a month for me too. 2 weeks ago Recruiter told me they would get back to me early last week but no word thus far. We are back up candidates, prolly a no go at this point
😔
I emailed recruiter on Monday. No response yet. Not sure why it is so hard reply with a sorry you failed
We won’t know. Send an email to the recruiter.
