I passed first round 3 months ago and took a break before on-site. I have my on-site interviews scheduled in 2 weeks. Currently L6 Sr. Product Manager - Technical at Amazon. I have a call with recruiter early next week. Only asking to see if these are relevant questions to have a Point of view for my call with recruiter in two days. Can you help me with few questions below - 1. What level is equivalent at Google for an L6 Tech PM at Amazon. I will be considered (based on my manager’s inputs) for promo to L7 upcoming quarter. 2. What is the target comp for L6 at Google? 3. Does Google recruiter discuss comp in a call before the on-site? Experience - 12 yrs across Product and Analytics TC - $300k

China CYBERATTACK on UK ? WTF
Ofcourse everything relies on preparation. I have a call with recruiter and do not want to commit to a number (which I did in my early Amazon recruiter call).
I’m in a similar stage of recruiting and I’m working on scheduling my google virtual onsite. 10YOE. Current TC is 420k at Adobe and I have an offer from salesforce for 425k + 75k sign on. The recruiter won’t bring up compensation. They have little to no control on the compensation at this stage. For Bay Area, L5 range is 300k- 450k and l6 is 400-550k based on my research and talking to friends at google. Your level and comp is decided by the hiring and compensation committee. L6 PM-T will almost always get hired as L5s unless you are exceptional or have a FB L6 offer.
Thanks buddy. This is helpful.
Bro you have a long way to go before you start thinking of TC at google. Stop dreaming, prepare hard for the interview.
