Google Pixel 8 anyone?

Is the main use of your phone to run geekbench?

I've had the Pixel 1and Pixel 4a with no battery issues. It will last over a day. I plan on getting a 7a soon.
Have had pixel-1, 5 and now on 7-pro. Don't have battery issues but after 2 years of use the battery doesn't hold much anymore. I had that with both the 1 and the 5. But perhaps that's true of the iPhone as well. I think for the cost, the 7 pro is a teeny good deal and iPhone can't beat the pixel s camera for stills
All I need my phone to do is take photos, browse blind, make calls to my mom, and give directions. Any phone since 2010 can do it and only camera can really be optimized - the rest works basically the same on any phone.
I still get good battery life on pixel 3a after 3 years. Was not aware that was a problem on pixels.

I have had Pixel 6 pro, 7 pro and moved back to iPhone because of the terrible battery life, on most days i had to recharge my phone once back home, didn’t give me a full day even once. I wish to buy a pixel, hopefully they can fix it Hate iPhones in general
I had pixel 3 xl for last 5 years and no issues with battery. I will upgrade to pixel 8 or pixel 8 pro. Right now thinking which one is to get.
