I have a phone interview soon. It looks like they are going to ask Stats and SQL/R coding Qs. Anyone knows more about it? I’m a bit nervous about Stats since my knowledge is pretty basic.
I have a phone interview soon. It looks like they are going to ask Stats and SQL/R coding Qs. Anyone knows more about it? I’m a bit nervous about Stats since my knowledge is pretty basic.
From friends in similar roles, the phone screen will be more about fit and if you've worked on data projects that use R/SQL. If you make it to the onsite or hangout, you will probably need to whiteboard some script...you need to practice. Don't need to be a stats expert, that's more of a data science role, but be familiar with concepts. Learn SQL and wow them with your scripting and understanding of how to join disparate data and you'll be well on your way.
Do they ask scripting language like R/python as well? Or just SQL?
