Hey @everyone who recently cleared Google PM Interviews or actively preparing for them rn, I'm planning to apply to Google in about two months, and I was wondering if anyone has some resources they would like to recommend. I'm willing to pay up to $1k for a good comprehensive resource that can provide me with the most up-to-date info on Google products & the interview process. Yes, I know the best way to prep for PM interviews is to do enough mock interviews, get good feedback, and apply the feedback to improve my answers, and I will put in the time to do so, but I'm also aware that the Google interview process has changed a bit this past month or so. So I would like to invest in a good resource to guide my mock interviews. What would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
Yeah doing mock interviews is the only way. It sounds like you don't wanna dig different parts of the internet for various free resources. If that's the case, I would then recommend product alliance. I have their course (but am not interviewing rn), and from time to time, they send emails that they just updated the course, and they have a pretty solid set of recently-asked interview questions and sample answers to some of them.
I'm also planning to apply when they start hiring more actively again. Would love to stay in touch and/or prep together! :)
Same here, looking for prep partners
Send a DM! Recently cleared Google last month
You’re right! The best way to prep is exactly that — do enough mock interviews with good feedback partners. And you’re smart that you still want to use up-to-date resources to guide your prep. Google actually announced a hiring freeze for pm roles, but since you're planning to interview once that's over, here is a quick interview process overview: after the first call with the recruiter and a phone interview with a PM covering a general product question, you will get the 5 onsite interviews. One of these interviews is going to be a Craft & Execution question instead of the old more technical question with an engineer (this might be the recent change that you might be referring to). I can send you a prep doc with relevant links and free & paid resources that my friend who referred me shared with me when I was prepping. Just DM me your email if you're interested because it's over the character limit here on blind.
Hi, do you mind if I DM my email too? Appreciate it if you share the prep doc with me too!
DM'ing my email too! Do you know when the freeze will be over?
Why is there a hold ? I do have a recruiter call for later this week
