Most of my friends got a single day onsite event at Google Pittsburgh having 4 interviews and a lunch. However I had 2 on campus interviews in the last week of September and have 2 more (and a lunch) next week at the Google Pittsburgh campus. Just wante to check- is it the norm now or an exception? Also will my interviews be looked upon differently by the HC (since I had a gap of like 2 weeks between the 2 sets)?

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Google is always changing up how we do interviews, much like we are always changing up how we do search. Lots of experiments being run. My guess is either a) you were difficult to schedule for some reason, b) you're a part of a calibration to keep Pittsburgh well calibrated versus campus, or c) you are an intern conversion (the first two interviews) who we asked to come back for the second half. I wouldn't read too much into it. HC will probably view all your interview feedback together...
I think a) is more applicable in my case. I had my LinkedIn deadline on Oct 2 so had no idea how to proceed (they were asking me to interview on Oct 9 even though I had specifically mentioned my deadline and requested them to wrap up the process before that). Later I decided to complete my Google interview anyway and make a decision after that. But my main concern was how will it be viewed by the HC. Thanks for the reply.
