Google Signing Bonus?
I've been reading a lot on here about people getting signing bonuses. Is that pretty standard with Google offers? Looking into Customer Engineer positions. #gcp #google

What about to balance out lost bonus from current job? For example if I start in q4, I’ll miss my 10-15% that I’ve essentially earned already with my current employer. Will the offer sign on in this case?

I got 35k without competing offer for a CE role. I had taken hit on my base from my past role so demanded they make up the gap

They will only give it to you, if matching an offer from a other competitive company. Be prepared for them to ask you to prove your competing offer
