Getting ready to do the TPM (L5) interview onsite loop next week, for TPM in cloud networking, and I can find a million examples in the software dev/eng space - I really can't find much info for what to expect from a network engineer/cloud engineer TPM perspective. Here is the 5 interviews in the loop: 1st Interview: Googleyness 2nd Interview: RRK - PGM Cloud Networking 3rd Interview: Technical Judgement - cloud networking 4th Interview: General Cognitive Ability 5th Interview: Technical Judgement - cloud networking Current role is a principal network engineer, heavily in the route/switch space - prior time at Amazon in the agg layer. Any insight as to what to expect from the rounds? Having never used GCP I am crash coursing the basics, but would be great to know anything else I can start sinking my teeth into. YOE: 10satcom && 10networking Current TC: 200k #google #tpm #L5 #cloud networking
Do they share level before the interview? Also, do they look for familiarity to GCP in interview?
I asked the internal recruiter that was setting up the virtual on-site what the level was and he told me it was L5. 0% GCP knowledge or familiarity on my end, and they didn't ask about it at all (recruiters or interviewers)
Can I DM you I have a upcoming interview with google for TPM?
for sure, feel free to.
How is the cloud networking team? Any insights?
Hi OP: did you get an offer? Please let me if I can DM. I’m also interviewing for a TPM role at Google in networking team.

Thanks! It wasn't too bad. Only part that got me was the last one, the second technical judgement, was like a system design session and the application space is a lot different than network infrastructure - so I am sure i bombed that one haha.
What was the system design question like?
