Joining soon! What all can we buy from the 1000$ fund? Will have to submit claims early on only so would appreciate suggestions. :) (Btw I’m planning to buy an iPad for myself.. Once you get on boarded there’s a crowdsourced doc of reviews / ideas of what to buy. No you probably cannot expense an iPad. I’d look at upgrading your desk / chair / monitor first.
The WFH fund is more for home furnishing etc, for electronics there's a separate smaller fund I believe but I'm not sure iPad is included. Check with your manager. And welcome to Google!

If you’re in a wildfire zone, air purifier is a good idea. Similar, humidifier if you need it. Coffee machines aren’t allowed 😡 better headphones/mic for GVC. Better router or any other things you would need for connectivity. You’ll be working on a chrome book so definitely a $70+ USB c dongle, don’t cheap out on that.

I use an iPad extensively for work to collaborate effectively... if companies were smart enough, they should either provide it or reimburse it(along with pencil)
