Is google WFH or not? I just spoke with the recruiter and she informed me that google has a major push to push employees back to the office. Is this mainly for new employees? #tech #faang #google
What is known: three days in the office, two days optional remote is the arrangement company wide starting in September. What is not known: each product org (PA) like Ads or Cloud can set the three days they expect employees to be in the office. We haven't received communication from the PAs yet.
And im fairly certain they will be taking attendance on those three days because Google is 100% against remote and WFH and is only doing this since other companies are doing it.
Bull. Most of my team only came to work once or twice a week prepandemic and they've all been promoted.
No. They pulled the biggest bait and switch I've ever seen today.
Can you share more? I’m a new hire with a start date in the next couple of months. No update from my manager yet. I’m in the tech org.
I’m curious as well!! Joining in technical sales in GCP. Expected to relocate but curious if that could change given wfh announcement
We’ve been told we can fill out a form to request remote but that is pa specific and nobody actually knows what it’ll look like yet. Maybe today.
What is pa?
I feel like its BS
