Newer SE here... looking at job postings on Google's site. SEIII with just 1 year experience needed in JS, Bachelor's or relevant experience.... Is the bar really that low right now for Google? Or is the interview process where the hard part lies? #google
They check your degree certificate one more time during the interview for legitimacy and then you’re through. Try negotiating for a better level. Good luck!
Lol
They started paying less and they have to reduce the bar too, otherwise they can’t hire anybody in this market.
No. The leetcode probs are just as hard.
I’m actively interviewing, so far google interview is the easiest, among Microsoft, Apple, Databricks and Roblox.
Google easier than Microsoft and Apple?
That's because at Google you usually get downleveled
…who wants to tell him?
Google SE3 is L4(1 level above new grad). But if you do get accepted with 1 yoe on js, 95% chance they will downlevel the shit out of you.
Because you are treated like children and need to looked over by your daycare provider by being forced to go to work
It’s both the interview and getting your application looked at. The real test though is getting through their interview process and constant delays without gouging out your eyes.
