Google exec approval to offer
I got team matched, HC approval, EC approval a week back. I was verbally told I will receive an offer last Mon. But, I have not rcvd yet. Is this common at Google? How long will it typically take for the initial offer and any further negotiations?
What level is this for? Why is suvh a big drama? Did you share your current or expected TC?
Its for L5. I shared my expectation (median based on Blind data). Havent heard back yet. If the initial offer is low balled, then I need to wait further in negotiation rounds.. waiting is more frustrating than preparing for interviews...
Can I ask what you shared as expectation?
Expectation that I shared was 350 and they closely met the expectation
OP, hope you got the offer? I am still waiting for HC approval. Was told end of this week and still waiting for recruiter's note.
It takes awhile and they will make a big deal out of seeking “exec approval” as I’m convinced it’s part of their recruiting script. Prepare to be low-balled below market value on your offer.
