Google freeze plan on slowly lifting starting Monday
L4 SWE. Apparently they're gonna start hiring on Monday for some teams starting with late stage candidates and then those for post-onsite. Not all teams done prioritizing, but looks like Android, Pixel, Wear, and others. Idk how orgs outside P&E are handling it. New TC after Amazon offer: 370k L5 SFO
My recruiter said something similar. The thing is, many positions can only have a start date in Q4. Which is honestly not too far away anyways.
Q4 is in 5 weeks
To be clear. Offers can start being handed out soon, but the start dates on the offer letters will be in Q4.
Which team are you in consideration for?
I'm not sure. I think I was in the general pipeline for the org that has the teams I listed, and stuff like Chrome
A recruiter reached out for Business & Marketing DS position. I was skeptical because of the freeze news, but looks like defrost happening
