Hey guys, What's the hiring bar at Google like nowadays? I see they're doing alot of recruiting. Just curious. TC : 126K( Texas) Y.O.E : 1
Lol this poll isn’t helping
Very true. It's like Google peeps are trolling 😆
Recently interviewed and got 7 offers including Facebook, Google, Uber, Airbnb, lyft , Quora , snap Just snap and Quora interviews were slightly tougher, then came google. The other 4 companies were far easier.
Did you get like crazy dp questions for google or just regular map set trees etc?
Wow teach me senpai 🙏
Got offers from Quora, Snap, Facebook, Roblox, Airbnb, and Citadel when I was job searching two years ago. Google was by far the hardest. It's pretty dependant on your interviewers though.
Easier in GCP. Rest remains hard as always.
So you think Google hires SWE specifically for GCP in US?
No idea abt US but in India there's one less coding round for GCP.
Lower than typical. That's how I got in 😎
Can I dm you?
Why do you say that ?
I would say it is same , I had given interview 2 years back as well as may 2021. Recently I was asked dp along with game theory, so yeah it's still hard
For salty people that get rejected but see their friends get in: Lower than usual For people that got in that wanna flex: higher than usual
If you want an india perspective Directi asks harder than Google. Google was hard I would say but not as hard as what even I ask in interviews. Its more nit-picky in Google about testing code quality etc. Small things which are also important. Otherwise compared to Amazon msft linkedin etc Google still remains the toughest large sized firm. Gcp interviews aren’t inherently easy but their HCs are easier so clearing it is easier.
Low
