Really bad experience, now I have cameras on both nest app and home app, while the latter is just inferior. Why having two coexist and retiring a better app? Why just why

I struggled to even connect Wi-Fi hub and pods to home app.. and ending up returning them.
I have found all of the smart home apps to suck. Great promise. Poor execution.
