Guys, please help me find any solution, please keep this post up! It has been almost a year since i started having issues with Google and i see no resolution. My feeling is that they have no idea what's going on with their system nor do they care. In brief, what is happening and how awful it is: I moved to US and i created US payment profile. Added my US Card there but i was unable to change country so if i go to play.google.com/Play Store i'm still locked to my old country. - It's not possible to close Old Payment profile as it wrongly flagged my account as having AdSense account. Which i never had. (opening and closing it did not help). Similar thing with Google Cloud which i never used and it's impossible to close it. Such option doesn't exist. Never Implemented!!! - It has made my life awful as i was not able to install essential apps like bank app, health care app, parking app, several more important apps which are only available with US google account. Finally tried to register new email and move BUT they do not allow me because: - Eventually i managed to move all my files from Google Drive to another account (via synology NAS) - Move all my photos to another account - Move all my emails to another account - The google drive is still showing that 18Gb is on google drive ALTHOUGH i deleted everything, deleted links with shared with me files etc. And Google system clearly doesn't recognize anything as occupied. MY EMAIL IS VERY IMPORTANT AS IT'S MY MAIN CONTACT FOR USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration) and also everywhere in my resumes!!! 16-17+ years same email! So, my Google Drive just expired and guess what. I CAN'T GET ANY EMAILS AS THERE IS NO MORE SPACE, ALTHOUGH THERE IS NOTHING TO BE DELETED!!!! I had about 10 calls/chats with Google One support and every single one ended up in sending me on a form "for help" which directed me in a community support WHICH IS JUST A DEAD END and NOBODY EVER got help there!!! They openly admited me that they are just reading google help pages and they have no option to escalate the issue! I was not able to attract their attention in any other way. Again, i have been fighting this for months and its horrible!!! #google
Open a new email account, setup forwarding of all email to the new one. In future, use iCloud
As i said, i tried opening new account but they don't let me stop paying the first one as the system is showing that i'm over the base quota. It's not about 2$ but the question is WHERE IS THE END TO IT!? How to save my self from that...
$25 per year for the next 40 years or so is like $1000. Think of it as an extortion charge or taxes.

I'm stuck with that email for a long time... About 30 crucial apps and logins from banks and immigration service is reaching me through that... And the bug there in Google doesn't let me use email because of false disk quota calculation...
Welcome to Hell. Don’t expect any support from Google. I would recommend paying whatever, getting your data out and setting up your email with a service where they actually have customer support, for e.g. Fastmail. All the best!
Post this to CringedIn and you'll get a response from Google: "We're thrilled to have you join us as a paid customer!" And also, close your credit card account
Well, i did manage to put the card which is invalid but.. i don't have my email now. I would have to pay it again. Idiots. Yes, they did contact me via twitter DM. They have sent me DM asking for feedback.

Bite the bullet and change your email and don't create it on google this time. Too risky and not gdpr compliant
Similar thing is happening to me. I used Google photo app on iPhone, in the background it upload photos and now I cannot delete in group and they make it really hard to delete album. I have to pay G. This is crazy
If you’re on iPhone, just use iCloud
Google never gives a single fuck about their customers. I’ve had issues with several areas of Google as a customer and they just do not care. Their whole support systems are just a facade to make it look like they’re doing something while never solving any actual problems.
If it’s so critical to be able to receive emails on that account, maybe sign up for Google One temporarily while you get it worked out? It’s $2/mo for 100 GB
It's not about 2$ but why it's impossible to delete all those files? How to leave google drive payments and stop paying... Looks like there is no way out :( And why don't they simply have and option to change country in a right way. Why do they have so broken system which is wrongly flagging accounts and nonexisting help system :(
