Google laptop choice - X1 Carbon Linux
Wondering how this option is, if anyone has any regrets selecting it? Also what distro is provided?

Most people are Macs. Not sure I have seen anyone use Linux option yet.

Byps00 Jan 17, 2022That's my old laptop. Switched to MacBook Pro M1 now. Better display size, better font rendering, and it never overheats. I do miss the keyboard tho, but I have a mechanic one so it doesn't matter

The keyboard, portability factor (in and out of the office regularly) and not being a mac user were my main concerns (specs. for work a given for all options) about the macbook... Big deal or nah?
