Google got so many coasters like IBM, management knows this and now they have the motivation to cut them. All indicators of a coming recession, could be worse in tech if these layoff news articles are true.
Didn't they say that they'll re org the sales dept which happens to have 30K employees and never said they'll fire everyone?
If this were true, it’d leak pretty quickly. You can’t set a layoff this massive in motion without ringing some alarm bells. Still, this is fake AF.

It's not fake news but it's 3 weeks old and click bait. They are reorg-ing a 30k person group. Maybe 20% get laid off but a every garbage news org (CNBC included) uses the "30k layoff" headline.
