Google level round onsite

Passed onsite(somehow no system design), passed HC. Got L4, no competing offer ATM. I heard you can ask for another round(usually System desgin rounds) to fight for L5. Do they still give the L4 offer if you didn’t do well? Also is it recommend to try the competing offer way first?

Absolutely go for competing offers, or you will take a pay cut and probably not get 330k at L4.

You will def not get 300+ at l4 unless you have competing outside offer from fb with proof (source = me)
