How much does it take for Google to provide feedback for the onsite process. Does it vary of it's plain reject. I had my on-sites on Tuesday.
Took me - 1 week to go to HC HC gave decision on same day (guess it’s the same for everyone?) 10 days for vp, svp, comp approval Been 5 days since and still waiting offer letter. Recruiter says I should get it in two days. If it’s a reject, you should know within 1-2 weeks.
It took me 3.5 weeks to get rejected. I went to HC, but now I'm thinking my recruiter just slacked off.
Depends on recruiter, he/she could call you after most of feedback came in OR before he/she decided to send to hiring committee or not, it will take about 2 days - 1 week.
Well I wait until next week then.
If you have other offers, you could ask recruiter to expedite/push interviewer to give feedback
Pro tip: always get competing offers even if you only plan on accepting Google. It’s good interview practice, more efficient use of time while your head is full of leetcode, expedites offer letter, and provides leverage in salary negotiation.
Its been 3-4 weeks, no response yet! Don't know what's taking so long.
If you directly pass/fail hc review, it should be a quick decision. Sometimes hc recommends additional interviews, it all depends on the recruiter, to choose when to feedback to you.
Quick decision as in? A few days or 1 week?
The entire process dragged on 4 months for me from submitting online app to getting my offer. It was a nightmare. Interviewers technically has be 2 weeks to provide feedback and it’s not unheard of for them to take that long. 1 week is standard for lots of people. Then on top of that, the recruiter may take a while evaluating all the feedback and getting back to you. They might go on a vacation or whatever and forget to tell you because they have so many candidates in their pipeline. They might just be scatter brained and apathetic. Lots are contractors straight out of undergrad. Just politely nag them with emails and ask about the schedule. They’re tight lipped but often explain things like “waiting for feedback still@ or “hiring committee meets next Tuesday”. GL
The answer from googlers was always - the more time to respond the better the outcome. It holds true.
Took about a week for me. All the interviewers must submit there feedback to your recruiter to get back to you.
How did you do?
2 good interviews, 2 borderline, 1 bad. Recruiter said I did well on googliness and cognitive ability but I need to work on problem solving. Got rejected.
