Recruiter just emailed me after onsite saying "I have an update from the hiring committee to share with you, is there any chance you have availability after XYZ for a quick call?" Seeing this I'm thinking reject, but they scheduled a 30 minute time after I responded. Seems like that's a long time for a quick rejection message UPDATE: Got past HC! #google
Difficult to say. My G recruiter sent me the same email then told me during our phone call that the original team I was interviewing with put a pause on hiring so they offered me interviews with other teams. Ended up getting an offer a few weeks later with a team that much better suits my skillet.
I know you're very anxious and I wish the very best to you, but posts like this make me hope you get rejected.
๐คฃ๐คฃ why so
Because I've seen it so many times, it's been answered so many times, it's become a spam post.
Rejection
In my case, recruiter told me in email that I passed HC and she wants to talk about next step.
Same as the guy above. They told me over email I passed. I got rejected the first time and no details were said over email.
The recruiters do that so you can't share your Google verbal acceptance news should you get it. I've received both results with the same email. Means absolutely nothing.
Same experience, recently got an offer from Google.
Maybe it means you passed but are getting down leveled
When it's a "quick call" it's mostly a rejection
My โpassed HCโ call came with the same wording. Itโs intentionally ambiguous. Youโll find out during the call.
I passed the on-sites with good feedback for 3 rounds and mixed for 2 and even had a fit successful call with the manager who was more than willing to take me in his team. The HC still rejected me ๐๐ So on-site result wouldn't determine hire or no hire. HC will. PS: I was told about all the results by an ad hoc call. No prior notice.
This is absurd. Do you know the reason?
