Think I did ok, lots of stats and case questions. May have tripped up on 1-2 problems out of the entire 5 panel interview. Pass or not? TC: 190K Yoe: 1 Role: product analyst, data science Update: got offer
I’m assuming this is for Quant UX Analyst or Data Analyst role?
Product analyst, data science is the role name
Probably good enough to get to HC but running out of time isn’t necessarily a great sign. You should finish and have enough time to ask questions
How was your result?
Got to HC
Can you share your interview experience in detail? The kind of questions asked in a little mit bit more details etc. Thanks!
Aren't you at Google?
I'm but thinking of transfer to PA. So any inputs would help.
Bro didn’t you get put on pip for Facebook and then got a job a square now interviewing for google lol Which company did you decide to go for ultimately? And what’s the TC range for this role?
Nah didn't accept square but yup, got pip by FB and then chose Google after getting apple, LinkedIn, square and Google. Range is 135-145 for base, 180-200k for rsus, 20-30k for sign on Hopefully that helps!
How are you such a beast! In your opinion what level of math is needed for all those roles? I transitioned to Data Analyst role in tech recently, but long term is to become a product analyst or data scientist (not the PHD level ones)
Which level you got in google. I recently got an offer from Analytics Lead. But I have an offer from FB for 350k. I wanted to know if google will be able to beat that.
What do you mean by trip up? Do you mean you needed strong hints to get it, or that your solutions were completely wrong or you ran out of time?
Ran out of time, both questions were at the end of the interview
One was a SQL question on calculating churn the other was a prob question on poisson distribution
