I interviewed with Google for L4 Software Engineer position 20 days ago and I am yet to receive the feedback from the recruiter. I was initially told that he will be getting back to me in 7 days but I haven't received any response even after multiple follow up's and calls. I do not have any other contact from the recruiting team. Can anyone suggest what can be done here? #Google #Recruiter
They on holidays or it's a contractor that got fired.
More than likely it means you got rejected, move on.
It's google. they are known for being slower than a sloth. But anyway, don't wait for them, keep interviewing.
I think that it is because you are mixing up the words "since" and "for over".
This happens all the time. And if you think 20 days is long, recently I had a similar experience with Microsoft when I waited for the feedback from June till November. The recruiter suddenly appeared with congratulations that I got into Microsoft.... little did he know, by the time I signed an offer with Apple. lol It's normal for recruiters to do this. I think it's because they try to manage multiple candidates, and they sometimes want to wait for one candidate to respond and hold all the others, sometimes they just want to keep interviewing people.
There are 100% on holidays
Ghost the recruiter. If they want you they'll come back. I promise. And don't pester them like a jilted lover.
