I completed my onsite for google apm program about 2 weeks ago and i emailed my recruiter to check in and see if they had any update or insight on whether my feedback was overall positive or negative. the recruiter told me it is google policy to not give out feedback..only final results. When did that happen? I thought recruiters could share preliminary results (strong hire/ hire/ lean hire etc) before HC results. Edit: I have not been rejected or given an offer yet. I don’t even know if i’ve made it to HC?? tc: 0
You’re probably a white or a male.
actually i’m not white nor am i male.
Next time they reach out to you, which should be in another 18 months, that recruiter will be able to give some feedback
They’re not supposed to give feedback but all good recruiters will tell you verbally on the phone what they see. Anyone following the rules too close sucks as a recruiter.
Stripe gave me good feedback. I don't think it's a requirement that companies don't tell you anything
Yeah it's always better to get feedback. But these days, it's that they're very selective and there are a lot of applicants
Because when you do enough interviews people will eventually sue for something just to get you to settle. Welcome to America.
My recruiter told me when I got hired that they can only give feedback if you don't pass. So maybe it's a good thing.
