Google recruiter update email
Got an email from recruiter saying they have an update for me after 2 weeks of on-site and wish to discuss it after the long weekend though. Will be be reject or select Update: recruiter mentioned we are moving forward ?#tech #googleinterview

Not true, Google always calls to inform candidates whether or not it is a rejection.

With Google you never know. A recruiter told me they had updates, scheduled a call to chat, and I got rejected lol. I've heard similar for some others. So could go either way!

Chill out, this is not conclusive. I got acceptance 3 weeks after on-sites.
You never know. So it’s useless speculating what the call would be about. Hope you make it though, hold on in the meantime.
Why do recruiters not want to email you the outcome ? The recruit directly emailed outcome for the first phone interview round though
Had my onsite 1.5 weeks ago, waiting for an update from the recruiter. Early contact could mean one too many hard NOs or more than enough "strong hire". 2+ weeks could mean extensive feedback reviews from heavy "lean no hire" or "lean hire". Onsite result call is truly a 50/50 imo
how do you know longer time means 50/50? What if it just is bureaucracy?
Really hard to say. I got an email that I was sure would be a reject (short, just a quick "Do you have time to chat?" sort of thing) only to be informed I cleared the HC.

In my case recruiter contacted via email that my profile looks good and we would be moving ahead with the process. I was asked to fill up a questionnaire and was told that they will get in touch in 3-5 days. It's been 14 days and no contact has been made by the recruiter P.s.
