I completed onsite recently and moved to team matching. Recruiter won’t share if the feedback looks good/borderline/longshot and what the chances of getting HC approval are. Is it normal for Google recruiters to be tight lipped about giving any hints/indicators on how the feedback looks? I am stressed out. I understand they can’t share specific areas of feedback, but why not share whether the feedback overall is good vs meh Tc: $350k, Yoe: 7
not normal
recruiters are all different, this seems pretty normal to me
Same thing happening to me too. I gave the interview 4 months back. Had two team matches in january and feb. Selected by one of them. Moved to HC. Was supposed to recieve feedback last week. Still didn't recieve any feedback till today. I don't understand why can't google recruiter say I havent been hired.
What level/role? Did you have a location preference?
I applied for L4. Recruiter recommended I will be perfect for L3, as the interviewer didnt like my coding style. But the solutions were all correct. So she sent my packet to HC after team match for L3. No I didn't have any preference.
Google recruiters can be extremely annoying. Don’t get too invested in Google’s hiring process, if you value your sanity.
Are you still waiting?
@op what happened? Did you get an offer?
I wouldn't be too worried. I've had recruiters who said a lot of things, but then couldn't deliver an actually competitive TC. I've also had a recruiter who said absolutely nothing about my performance and just handed me a written offer that blew everything else out of the water.
