May I ask why you think you are qualified for Google staff position? I have seen Amazon L6 been offered Google L4 positions and most are rejected altogether. Is it that you are qualified or is it wishful thinking?

From my experience I’ve seen L6’s at amazon that couldn’t get an L3 offer. And I’ve seen L6s that could easily be staff at google. It’s such a wide range and Amazon won’t promo unless you politic for L7
Yeah this is the real answer, L6 varies a lot at Amazon so it’s hard to tell.

Not really. I personally know a guy who went L6 from Amazon to L6 at Google with 6 YOE.
