It sounds like the cuts are only for the base salary? It's a 15% difference between 185k and 160k; I'm absolutely not moving from WA to CA for a 15% raise of base! If you get 150k extra in RSU, then the difference is just 8%, just about what you'd spend on state income tax alone. Hasn't this calculator been announced a while ago? Can anyone share any results from it?

Steal of a deal! 75% of the pay but you can live somewhere with 50% (or lower) cost of living.
Also remember if you take tax into perspective, what you really lose is only (your pay cut)*(1-your marginal tax rate)
But if you live frugally, it's better not to work remotely.
