Google vs Netflix new grad
Not sure about Google location yet; however, Netflix will in either LA or Los Gatos. First year TCs are the following Netflix: ~260k all cash Google: ~230k Since I am a new grad with no financial obligations if learning and wlb are better with lesser TC, I’d still be happy to take it. I am especially interested in cultural and work differences and overall quality of experience. Current TC: 0 #tech #netflix #google

Netflix beats Google for TC and less feel of hierarchy. Promotion is easier as up to l5 it's manager's discretion

Netflix isn’t actually 260 btw, that 42 relocation is in benefits not cash. And it can only be spent on very specific things.
