Which internship to choose? I also heard that instead of having interns take 2 rounds of interviews Google will just give return offers this year.
Is return offers without interviews only in MTV?
I think everywhere.
Snowflake when I was interviewing there gave off an all mighty vibe. Most of the people I met were nice but a couple people during my process gave off that stuck up vibe. And without any reason one of them told me to not mention work life balance if you want to work here.
I interned at both snowflake and google. My snowflake team had a lot of ex Google's and they were all really strong senior engineers so the level of talent is the same. I would go with Google just for name value, but can't go wrong with both. I really enjoyed snowflake, super nice people, great WLB, awesome talent. I learned a lot here, and likely be writing a lot of code and iterating fast. The company is at a size where you can still iterate fast but not be daunted by how big the code base is. Google is google they have strong engineers and great WLB too. It moves super slow, and Youll probably code very little. Learning curve is meh since it's 3 months and ur just barely scratching the surface in the google mammoth tech stack. At google you'll likely just enjoy the internship experience, rather than optimize for learning. They have a lot of fun events and perks. By the way if you can just push one internship to an off semester and try doing both. It's worth the experience
Thanks so much!
Btw guys can you give some reasons? Thanks
