Is the question bank large? Do google interviewers have to use the questions there or is it entirely up to them? Is there a separate question bank for front end engineers? Is it worth going through the tagged google LC?
Which question bank are you folks talking about?
Questions that end up on LC are supposed to be banned. I'd say practicing free LC is good enough. That said, what does the premium sub cost? $30 or something? That's nothing relative the value of your next job.
Question I have is - how does google know that a question has made it to leetcode ? Also , there are several other sites ( the one I keep hearing about it some Chinese website ) where questions get posted in foreign language
Google knows everything, it even know what you searched , shopped
There are many thousands of questions tagged by the skill / role. Interviewers aren't obligated to use those questions. Popular questions are banned.
DM please
@Google wouldn't it be against your company policy to be giving mock interviews (esp getting paid for it) due to potential conflict of interest?
Are you looking for important questions, so you can star and memorize the solution getting A then forget everything?
Yes, pretty large question bank: 1000+ questions Many interviewers prefer to use the questions listed there because: a) questions are constantly added and voted upon b) leaked questions are banned c) a doc or write up follows every question regarding various approaches, signals to look for etc. No separate question bank for front end engineers. Front end questions are also a part of this same question bank - it’s essentially a website with tags for questions. It’s worth going through tagged Google LC problems because you get an idea of the topics, kinds of questions asked and the level. If you’re lucky, you might also encounter a similar idea.
Desi spotted :)
Last I checked there were thousands of questions, massive database
Are there any feature where employees can upvote something? So you’re able to look at the top let’s say 50?
If I worked at Google, why would I want to work with someone who got in by studying the exact interview questions?
