Got a better job offer but I’m pregnant
I just received a job offer from a better company, and salary is much higher than my current place. My problem is that I’m 3 month pregnant. I didn’t tell the recruiter or the hiring manager about it (not feeing comfortable to tell people yet). Will it be a problem? I will only have 6 months to work then will need to take maternity leave. Anyone know or have some experience about this? Will it reflect badly on me? Thanks in advance! P.s: I haven’t accepted the offer yet because I’m still torn about this
I know someone who took up a new job when she was 6 months pregnant. She faced no issues. Go ahead and accept it.
I know someone going on paternity leave 6 months into the new job with no problem. Not exactly the same but I would tell them now rather than after.

Yea, should be illegal to ask marital, parental status, etc. That should include pregnancy
Don’t fucking feel bad for doing your part in continuing the human race. Fuck them all to high hell if they think otherwise. It’s also super illegal for them to discriminate based on pregnancy. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

Take the job. If they have a problem with that, it’ll reflect badly on the company.... not you.
Which is, incidentally, illegal, but that doesn’t stop it from happening of course... at worst you can name and shame if they do.
