Got an offer from BCG. Should I take it?
I am working mom having 1 yr old baby. Recently I got an offer from BCG and TC is increased by 100k. But I am afraid of getting too busy from consultant life. Would you recommend to take it? #parenting #workingparent

Why did you apply if you are now scared about working there? Also, you can hire a full time nanny for 100k
BCG Platinion? stay away
Why?
Culture is horrible at Platinion! Maybe good for new hires, but if you are experienced, stay away! Cocky managers who are horrible at tech!
Consulting is very demanding

Someone I know very well worked for BCG although not in US, he was constantly stressed and eventually quit his job to join a startup. This person in question is an exceptional performer and graduated from one of the top B-schools in India. I would ask pointed questions the team about work life balance. Prioritize time with your baby since this will never come back, you can always join BCG a couple years down the line. edit: I am a new mom too and I know how you must be feeling right now about the decision.
