Got an offer from Macy's Technology. Is it a good place to work at as an engineer?
Recently I got an offer for the position of UI engineer at Macy's Atlanta. The package is really good but I'm hesitating if I will really accept the offer. Anyone worked at Macy's before？How's the environment/coworkers, and company culture? Is it a good place to work at as an engineer?

if you are starting in Midtown office in Atlanta, everything you do would be new, environment/culture and coworker. Considering it as an opportunity or not would be your choice, but as an tech organization I am skeptical about it's stability

Folks from THD (read cronies) made the culture real toxic. If you are coming from similar culture (politics, keeping people in dark, lack of communication) - you can survive and do just fine. Given the COVID-19, Stock performance (literally dropped by 50% within last few months) - I would suggest to tread lightly!! I am currently working there (hanging in there due to visa situation) and given an opportunity I will jump ship.
Agree !!! So join it for short term, if you dont have any better offer !!! Enjoy the good package and find something good.
How about the coworkers？Are they friendly and easy to deal with？Are they good engineers?

I atteneded a hire event and the offer says I will be placed on the dotcom team which is the website I suppose. BTW what does THD stand for？
