I just got offered $120k for Full Stack Developer III. How is it working at FedEx? How is WLB? Is it meeting heavy? Is it a heavy workload? What tech stack should I review? Any tips or comments? #fedex #fullstack #tech
Low TC.
Isnt docusign TC way more than Fedex, levels fyi shows docusign at 2 or 3x TC
My guess is OP is not SWE at docusign
Congrats OP. What’s the location and YOE. BTW fedex has good wlb but I have seen some teams had bad wlb but overall it should be very flexible. The workload is not too bad. Atleast in my org some of the tech stacks we use are angular, java , spring boot, pcf, Jenkins for deployments, git and so on
2 years here as a PM but I'm about to jump the ship. The culture is toxic with dysfunctional management. You will be ok if you have a good manager but the developers I work with usually work a lot. And I mean a lot. Good luck
Which location and org ?
There’s a lot of meetings and old, antiquated processes. Generally good people at IC level. Could be extremely demanding during peak season.
Overall fedex is a easy and laid back environment, but depending on who your manager is, it could be toxic. Lots of old school minded people and promotions are given to individuals who come from operations and suck up.
