Surprisingly not too many from Twitter. Twitters are all retiring from the acquisition?
Arent twitter engs known for chilling while meta engs are known for busting their ass?
Was engineering the most affected in meta layoff?
3k engineers I guess
We just fast-tracked one that applied when the murmurs started. The guy clobbered our interviews. Meta is shedding some good talent, def worth picking them up if their resumes land on your desks.
News wrote that Meta will layoff people with perf issues in this or past cycle. So not sure if they are good talent.
Qualtrics: People having a bad perf can be good talent.
Meta had more folks on H1B who are in a rush to get a job ASAP.
This lol
What’s to lol here
Can you refer one from credit Suisse as well
Only 3700 laid off from twitter.. whereas 11k from meta approx 3 times
A good chunk of those 11k aren't technical roles.
^and I assume a good chunk of Twitter isn't, either.
Twitter employees are too busy being activists and going on date with Project Veritas.
This is true. Got a date lined up with Jacob tonight, I told him all Twitter engineers are given a censorship button when we sign the offer and he believed it. Looking forward to a free meal
Please don’t make this site turn into the absolute dumpster extreme shit. I’m a former Twitter employee and this is so cruel and strange
Or GTFO
Blind is supposed to be anonymous. What's the point in naming the guy here?
