Grab G7 Salary
Hello everyone! I’m currently at the last stages, interviewing for Grab Singapore for a G7 (Head) role, leading a small technical team of >10 people. I need to provide salary expectations. Anyone knows that would be q reasonable range for a G7 role at Grab? YOE: 15 yrs TC: 250K
only about 10 people? are you sure? sounds too little. some G5s have 10 reports already
That my prospectus line manager told me. Expected to grow
For a G7, I will seek in the ~25k SGD / months range.
Base? Or TC

What is G7 level in Grab ? Is it Head of Dept (like Analytics) or Senior Engineering Manager. Also, Can u share your YOE ? One of my friend was approachd by Recruiter for G6/7 for grab GFG. Frm what i heard the expected Base was arnd 15-18k Range (He was PhD)
The title is “Head of xxx” - I have 15 YOE.
Senior EM is G5.. i guees

OP, what was the interview process like for G7?
I had 7 rounds of interviews, the experience was good and the people were mostly nice. However, I must say that Grab’s Talent Acquisition falls behind expectations and it’s light years away from other FAANG. Talent Acquisition person declined to give any pointers before any of the rounds, instead they provided me vague information such as “the interviewer wants to know about your experience”. Full stop.
Yeah, the TA team sucks. At least they are just non informative to you, in other cases they are misleading.
When you saying leading a team of 10, is this your direct reports or the size of the portfolio?
It’s the size of the team but it’s expected to grow.
What is the offer, OP?
Too many people told me to avoid Grab so I decided to decline without negotiating an offer. I accepted an offer from a Bank which most likely pays same or more than Grab with better WLB.
What is the bank's TC? Mind sharing?
I’m getting SGD 20K per month as an IC.
