Hi everyone, I am a soon-to-be graduating Master's student in Design and Engineering. While I have had decent feedback thus far, APM positions are actively recruiting, and the market is more challenging, so I'm diving deeper into referrals where possible. I have both internship and some professional experience in management positions. This includes internships working on front-end code (MVC React JS and Firebase backend), interaction design, healthcare research, and directly as a project manager. - Professionally, I led a team of designers and engineers at an education technology startup company working on mixed reality tools for educators. My interdisciplinary HCI background allowed me to be a translator/liaison between designers and engineers, utilising tick-tock scrum sprints across the two. - My PM internship was at an enterprise software company that provided business client services to academic researchers. I led an engineering team to provide and improve automation tools for the team and clients. Having worked in entrepreneurial and leadership environments most of my academic and professional career, combined with my cross-functional background, I am highly motivated to move toward a Product Management career. I am looking closely at TikTok, but I appreciate any referrals, feedback or leads people can provide. I am happy to talk more about IC skills or projects; thank you, everyone! #adobe #amazon #apple #duolingo #faang #google #tiktok #visa #servicenow #intuit #paccar #microsoft #tableau #spotify #uber #reddit #linkedin #lyft #salesforce #linkedin
