I have an onsite coming up for Microsoft and struggling to come up with an example for greatest weakness, cant say I am a perfectionist :) Any thoughts on how to answer this? TC: 195k

Helpful thanks
Your question suggests that your greatest weakness is a belief that you are perfect. Or an inability to introspect. Look at your own flaws and explain truthfully how you overcome them.
Not saying perfect, but I would also like to get the job :). What I am looking for is not to highlight something that is required to be a good PM, for example I could Improve my writing and I am taking steps to improve but then again should I mention that in the interview? Is that a red flag?
I’d say if you acknowledge a gap and show that you’re aware and have a way to work past it or around it that’s a big positive.
Asking status too many times.
Thats literally the first thing that pops up when you google this question.
Think of your biggest fcuk up and what did you learn from it
Its not related to being a PM, would that be still acceptable?
There’s nothing more transparent than spinning a strength as a weakness. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves when interviewing. I won’t say it’s the sole reason I’ve rejected candidates, but it has validated plenty of other red flags.
Yup, not going to fall for that one. Thats why sort of stuck on how to approach this.
But what do you do if you've never actually failed at anything or made a notable mistake?
That person must be Donald Trump
Well failed plenty of time and learned from them, but they are not recent and I dont consider them weakness anymore. Would that be an acceptable answer on how improved few years ago and no longer a weakness?
Answer with what you are looking to improve on the most. If you have given serious thought about how to grow yourself and your career, you should have a genuine answer here.
To be very honest, I have not given a serious thought on what skills are missing and how would I become a better PM. Something I should do I guess.
Whatever you choose, make sure you put it as "this is something I am working on and this is how I am going about working on it", not just "I'm bad at this" and leaving it there.
YOE? No mistakes you learnt from?
4 yoe, only 3 as a PM. Mistakes yes, not sure I want to say that in an interview.
